2010 sales taxes in city outpacing state returns |

NEW BRAUNFELS — Sales tax returns for New Braunfels this year are outpacing average returns recorded for Texas cities, according to figures released by the state comptroller.
“It certainly looks like we’re on a good trend again,” said Michael Meek, president of Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce.
New Braunfels is up 5.2 percent for 2010, compared to 2009.
